(a) To participate in the Surfnetkids.com Sweepstakes online, an entrant must register at prizes.Surfnetkids.com site and remain in compliance with these rules throughout the duration of the Sweepstakes. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. Any additional entries received from the same entrant will be discarded. In order to enter the sweepstakes online, the entrant’s name, email address and mailing address must be provided to Surfnetkids.com as part of the online registration process. As part of the registration process, entrants must verify their email address by responding to a confirmation email sent from Aweber.com list management services. Surfnetkids.com will use the email address given by the entrant for the purpose of notifying the entrant of the status of this sweepstakes and future Surfnetkids sweepstakes and contests. Entrants may opt out of this email list at any time by following the instructions in each email message.

(b) Those persons who wish to participate by regular mail may do so by sending a 3x5 card with their name, email address, and mailing address to: Surfnetkids.com Sweepstakes #1, 991C Lomas Santa Fe Dr. #415, Solana Beach, CA. Mail-in entries must be postmarked before the Sweepstakes End Date (as specified in Section 7 below) and received within seven (7) days after the Sweepstakes End Date. Mail-in entrants will automatically receive the maximum number of entries permitted to online entrants (i.e., a total of one entry). Mechanically reproduced entries are not permitted. Any additional entries received from the same entrant will be discarded. Any mail-in entry that is illegible, incomplete, late, damaged or does not carry proper postage will be disqualified.

Entrant’s email submitted for the purposes of the Sweepstakes will not be released by Surfnetkids.com to any third party not involved in the Sweepstakes. Surfnetkids.com may rent its postal mailing list (but never e-mail addresses) to organizations that wish to offer products and services to its subscribers.

5. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes period (the "Sweepstakes Period") begins October 3, 2006 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time, and ends on October 31, 2006 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (the "Sweepstakes End Date").

6. Winner Selection
Ten winners will be selected for the Prize in an electronically randomized drawing to be conducted within ten (10) days of the Sweepstakes End Date from all eligible online and mail-in entries received. The winners will have seven calendar days to reply via email. Unclaimed prizes will be re-drawn.

The random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Surfnetkids.com, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Each winner will be notified by email message within seven (7) days following the drawing date. The winners will have seven calendar days to reply via email. Unclaimed prizes will be re-drawn. In order to win, entrants must have provided true and accurate information and may not be in violation of any of these rules as determined by Surfnetkids.com.

7. Eligibility
This Sweepstakes is open to lawful residents of the United States excluding Puerto Rico. Employees of Surfnetkids.com, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family are not eligible. 8. General Conditions
No purchase necessary. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules and by the sole decision of Surfnetkids.com, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Taxes, exchange rates and duties, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prizewinners. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted.

All prizewinners must send email (or mail-in) confirmation to Surfnetkids.com within 10 days of notification by Surfnetkids.com. Prize winners will be required to submit valid identification to Surfnetkids.com and to execute a liability/publicity release within 10 days following the first Surfnetkids.com email or mail-in notification, they will be declared the official winner. Failure to comply within this time period will result in disqualification and awarding of the prize to an alternate winner.

Any prize won by a minor must be awarded in the name of a parent or guardian who must submit valid identification to Surfnetkids.com and execute the liability/publicity release on the minor’s behalf. Winners agree to Surfnetkids.com’s use of their names and/or likeness, age, gender, and country of citizenship for advertising and publicity purposes worldwide in any and all forms of media, without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. All federal, state, provincial, territorial and local laws and regulations apply.

Surfnetkids.com is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information whether caused by an entrant or an equipment or technical malfunction or for any technical error or malfunctions or clerical errors. Surfnetkids.com reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes. Surfnetkids.com is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Sweepstakes Rules, the selection and announcement of the winner or the distribution of the prizes.

Surfnetkids.com reserves the right to halt or cancel this Sweepstakes at any time without obligation or prior notice. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Surfnetkids.com their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prizes won.

Surfnetkids.com is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of e-mail addresses or mailing addresses that are no longer correct. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made during 10 business days from the first Surfnetkids.com notification attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate winner selected.

Any prize notification or prize returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Throughout the Sweepstakes Period, any failure to accept or receive email from Surfnetkids.com regarding the Sweepstakes will result in the automatic disqualification of the entrant from the Sweepstakes.

9. Internet
If for any reason the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection caused by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Surfnetkids.com, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Surfnetkids.com reserves the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Surfnetkids.com further reserves the right to conduct a drawing to award the Prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date.

Surfnetkids.com assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Surfnetkids.com is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in this Sweepstakes.

Entrants may not enter false or multiple email addresses nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to enter false or multiple email addresses. Any entrant who attempts, directly or indirectly, to enter multiple or false email addresses under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple or false entries will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute, entries made through the Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.

Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access Provider, or Internet Service Provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
